MOCK DRAFT / 3.0

March 2nd, 2024

1

Chicago_Bears_logo.svg.png

Caleb Williams

The move away from Justin Fields, no matter which QB you are drafting, is obvious. Reset the clock and allow the better player to turn your franchise around. Williams is a no-brainer in this offense and will instantly make Chicago relevant.

QB | USC | 6'1 | 215

2

Washington-Commanders-Logo.png

Drake Maye

With a new regime in place, the Commanders quickly find their franchise QB. Maye is a big, strong, and prototypical passer with a ton of athletic upside. He'll instantly provide the much needed jolt that this football team has been looking for.

QB | UNC | 6'4 | 230

3

new-england-patriots-logo-transparent.png

Jayden Daniels

The Patriots have been desperately lacking blue-chip talent and athleticism for years. Daniels will quickly change that narrative--providing a high-upside spark plug at the most important position in football. They'll need to spend some capital to construct the roster, but they won't pass up on a QB.

QB | LSU | 6'4 | 210

4

arizona-cardinals-logo-transparent.png

Marvin Harrison Jr.

With 3 QBs going right away, the Cardinals are left with an easy decision. Draft arguably the greatest WR prospect of all-time and reignite this once-scary passing attack. The arm of Murray & the tools of Harrison Jr. will be a sight to see.

WR | OHIO STATE | 6'4 | 205

Carolina Panthers

5

2560px-Los_Angeles_Chargers_logo.svg.png

Brock Bowers

Harbaugh & Roman have a history of utilizing the TE position. The possible cap-casualty of Mike Williams could determine if its Nabers or Bowers here. Bowers is a generational prospect who will instantly provide the desired identity of this team. Herbert and Bowers will dominate for years to come.

TE | GEORGIA | 6'4 | 240

6

new-york-giants-logo-transparent.png

Malik Nabers

The Giants haven't been able to find a true difference maker at the WR position. They thought Darren Waller could help solve that, but to no avail. They need a do-it-all guy who can instantly provide excitement and production. Nabers is exactly that.

WR | LSU | 6'0 | 200

7

tennessee-titans-logo-transparent.png

Joe Alt

Although I'm not high on Levis, it was difficult to play behind that offensive line. By adding Alt to the group, you're getting an elite protector for a decade plus. The tandem of Alt & Skoronski instantly creates a young tandem in the trenches and provides a physical identity in Tennessee

OT | NOTRE DAME | 6'8 | 315

8

atlanta-falcons-logo-transparent.png

Dallas Turner

This pick will gain more clarity once we find out if either Kirk Cousins or Justin Fields end up in Atlanta, but for now, their biggest need is a pass-rusher. Turner is an alien prospect with a ton of upside. He has the versatility, measurements, testing, and skill to become a lethal player for Atlanta.

EDGE | ALABAMA | 6'4 | 242

9

Chicago_Bears_logo.svg.png

Rome Odunze

I think Braxton Jones is good enough to pass up an OT here. Odunze, the big and physical pass-catcher, is the perfect compliment to DJ Moore, the dynamic and elusive one. The trio of Williams, Moore, and Odunze will instantly create energy in Chicago

WR | WASHINGTON | 6'3 | 215

10

New-York-Jets-Logo.png

Olu Fashanu

The Jets can't make the same mistake as last year and ignore the OT position. It's an urgent need. Fashanu is a no-brainer here. His well-rounded and powerful skillset will help Aaron Rodgers do what he wants to in this offense.

OT | PENN STATE | 6'6 | 319

11

minnesota-vikings-logo-transparent.png

JJ McCarthy

If Kirk Cousins stays, this pick could be different. But for now, Minnesota looks to find their next QB. McCarthy has the mental makeup to be a great professional in the NFL. With Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, this offensive-line, and O'Connell calling plays, the Michigan QB will be set up for success.

QB | MICHIGAN | 6'3 | 202

12

denver-broncos-logo-transparent.png

Jared Verse

I'm sure Sean Payton would love to find his next QB, but in this draft scenario, it doesn't work out. Last year this team was comically easy to run the ball on. So, they bolster a lacklustre unit by selecting a strong, technical, athletic, and productive EDGE rusher who can become a cornerstone.

EDGE | FLORIDA ST. | 6'4 | 260

13

oakland-raiders-logo-wallpapers-wallpaper-cave-1.png

Terrion Arnold

Antonio Pierce will want to establish the Raider's defensive identity. Right now their CB group is depleted, to say the least. Arnold is a prototypical CB1 who has the length, technical cover skills, and IQ to revamp the Las Vegas secondary. An easy projection and home-run pick.

CB | ALABAMA | 6'0 | 196

14

new-orleans-saints-logo-transparent.png

Laiatu Latu

With Cameron Jordan likely on his way out soon, Dennis Allen & co. find their next great pass-rusher. If medicals check out, Laitu is the best technical defender in this draft. He has every club in the bag, and his repertoire, strength, and quickness should allow him to become a force in the league.

EDGE | UCLA | 6'5 | 265

15

indianapolis-colts-logo-transparent.png

Quinyon Mitchell

Chris Ballard loves athleticism from a prospect standpoint. DB is one of their biggest needs. Quinyon Mitchell just tested off the charts in front of the home crowd in Indianapolis. This is a perfect fit. The Colts would be getting a long, physical, fast, and skilled corner who can quickly revamp this secondary.

CB | TOLEDO | 6'0 | 196

16

seattle-seahawks-logo-transparent.png

Byron Murphy II

Mike McDonald is coming from an organization that prioritized defenders up front. In order to succeed, his system will need to generate pressure from the first-level. Murphy tore it up at the combine and has the skillset to become a force in the league.

DL | TEXAS | 6'1 | 308

17

jacksonville-jaguars-logo-transparent.png

Nate Wiggins

I was torn between Wiggins & Brian Thomas Jr. here, but until the jury is out on Calvin Ridley, lets go with CB. Wiggins tore it up at the combine and fills an obvious position of need for this Jaguars team. He is long, fast, and has the playmaking ability to transform the identity of this defense.

CB | CLEMSON | 6'2 | 185

18

1024px-Cincinnati_Bengals_logo.svg.png

JC Latham

The Bengals finally do it. No veteran free-agents, no bargain contracts, just a young and talented offensive tackle who can truly keep Joe Burrow healthy. Latham has the build and skills to become a lockdown tackle at the next level.

OT | ALABAMA | 6'6 | 360

19

608968b9d598a5000448eaa2.png

Jackson Powers-Johnson

Powers Johnson is the perfect fit to continue the dominance of Sean McVay's offense. This unit needs some upgrades, and the Oregon centre has the ideal skillset match. He is smart, reliable, strong, and nimble.

OC | OREGON | 6'3 | 320

20

768px-Pittsburgh_Steelers_logo.svg.png

Taliese Fuaga

The Steelers finally invested in their O-line last year with the selection of Broderick Jones. They go down the same avenue once again, turning their weakness into a strength. Fuaga has the strength, build, and technical skills to become a long-term guy for Pittsburgh.

OT | OREGON ST. | 6'6 | 334

21

miami-dolphins-logo-transparent.png

Graham Barton

If Mike McDaniel wants to continue dominating in this unique scheme, he'll need to upgrade the offensive line unit. Barton is an extremely versatile, talented, smart, and tough lineman who can play any spot you need him to.

OL | DUKE | 6'5 | 314

22

philadelphia-eagles-logo-transparent.png

Kool-Aid McKinstry

The Eagles secondary is no longer a strength. They need young talent. Although McKinstry hasn't had the chance to show it off in the draft process, let's not forget how good his film is. He is an SEC battle-tested defender who has the size, skill, and toughness to become an elite CB1 for Philadelphia.

CB | ALABAMA | 6'1 | 195

23

houston-texans-logo-transparent.png

Brian Thomas Jr.

Say what you want, but this is too hard to pass up. With limited holes and a ton of cap space to bolster other positions, the Texans opt for the luxury pick. Thomas is a smooth, explosive, and productive WR with great size. The pick would help CJ Stroud reach new heights next season.

WR | LSU | 6'4 | 205

24

dallas-cowboys-logo-transparent.png

Xavier Worthy

After CeeDee Lamb, this team is desperately lacking a talented young WR. Jerry Jones is a "go big or go home" type of guy, and Xavier Worthy is shooting for the stars. His 4.21 speed and versatility is the perfect compliment to a much bigger and more physical co-star. Could this be the move that gets Dallas over the hump>

WR | TEXAS | 6'1 | 172

25

580b585b2edbce24c47b2b25.png

Jordan Morgan

The Packers have a huge hole at both OT spots. For Lafleur's impressive system to keep moving, they're going to need to address this. Morgan is an athletic, mobile, and versatile prospect who would fit perfectly into this passing attack.

OT | ARIZONA | 6'5 | 325

26

tampa-bay-buccaneers-logo-transparent.png

Chop Robinson

What was once a dominant unit is now slowly deteriorating. Chop Robinson is a maniacal/high-motor EDGE rusher who will fit Todd Bowles' trigger-happy defense and continue the Buccaneer's up-front success.

EDGE | PENN STATE | 6'3 | 250

27

arizona-cardinals-logo-transparent.png

Amarius Mims

Although they selected Paris Johnson last year, they still have a need opposite from him. By adding Mims, Arizona will now have a great offensive infrastructure to get back to where they once were years ago.

OT | GEORGIA | 6'6 | 340

28

buffalo-bills-logo-transparent.png

Adonai Mitchell

With Gabe Davis gone, and Diggs' production declining, the Bills need to add another weapon on the outside. Mitchell has the game-breaking speed, size, twitch, and tools to become Josh Allen's next target. This well help keep them in the AFC race.

WR | TEXAS | 6'4 | 196

29

detroit-lions-logo-transparent.png

Darius Robinson

The Lions need to add more talent to this defensive line. Robinson is a Detroit native, was coached by the Lions current DL coach at Missouri, and provides the versatility/toughness needed to play in this environment. He perfectly embodies what Detroit looks for.

EDGE | MISSOURI | 6'5 | 296

30

baltimore-ravens-logo-transparent.png

Xavier Legette

With OBJ possibly gone, and a need to stay in the AFC race, the Ravens look to add another playmaker. Legette--the big, physical, and explosive WR--is the perfect compliemnt to Zay Flowers--the small, twitchy, and smooth WR. This will create a complimentary pair for Lamar Jackson

WR | S. CAROLINA | 6'1 | 223

31

580b585b2edbce24c47b2b55.png

Cooper DeJean

With most top offensive lineman off the board, the 49ers add to their secondary. DeJean is a highly versatile and skilled DB who can play anywehre you need. His IQ and instincts are arguably his biggest asset. He is the type of player who can make a game-changing play in the Super Bowl.

CB | IOWA | 6'1 | 207

32

kansas-city-chiefs-logo-transparent.png

Ladd McConkey

Although they got the job done, the Chiefs were clearly lacking a go-to WR1. McConkey is arguably the best route-runner in the class and would simply be unfair with Mahomes. He is the perfect compliment to Rashee Rice.

WR | GEORGIA | 6'0 | 185

1

Position Rank: 1

Bryce Young
