Evan Neal

OT / ALABAMA / 6'6 / 337

evan-neal.png

Neal possesses a rare blend of size, power, and speed. He is incredibly quick out of his stance and has great strength while run blocking. Neal has a huge frame that is coveted at the position. Disciplined and stays balanced. Sometimes has trouble recovering after initially getting beat. Neal’s combination of size and athleticism is extremely rare and provides him with huge upside at the next level. Neal should be an elite left tackle for years to come.

2

Ikem Ekwonu

OT / NORTH CAROLINA ST. / 6'4 / 230

Ikem-Ekwonu-OT-NCState.png

Ekwonu is an extremely violent offensive lineman who is very impressive in the run game. He is an absolute pile driver with great speed and a desire to finish every play. Good stance with a low center of gravity. Great use of hands. Solid pass protector who has the ability to put away a defender early on in the rep. Occasionally commits mistakes in pass protection due to over-aggression. A bit raw but issues are not concerns.

3

Charles Cross

OT / MISSISSIPPI ST. / 6'5 / 310

i (1) copy.png

Cross is extremely impressive in pass-protection and has a lot of experience with an air-raid offence. His pass-protection technique is very good and he is very dependable. Smart player who possesses a good recovery. Not experienced in the run game and lacks the strength to succeed in a power-run system. Possibly the best pass-protector in the draft, and should go to a pass-heavy offence.

4

Trevor Penning

OT / NORTHERN IOWA / 6'7 / 330

Trevor-Penning-OL-NorthernIowa.png

Penning has an enormous frame and possesses pancake strength. He has good quickness for his size but is occasionally slow to get into his stance. Good technique in pass protection but sometimes plays a bit too upright and fails to get leverage. Tends to get off balance quite a bit. Versatile with the ability to play in many schemes. Can play on both the right and left side.

Grade: Round 1

Spencer Brown

5

Nicholas Petit-Frere

OT / OHIO STATE / 6'5 / 315

i-1 copy.png

Petit-Frere has an amazing combination of athleticism and power. His strength in the run game is fun to watch and he is very explosive out of his stance. Sometimes is overly aggressive and gets off balance. Holds up very well in pass-protection. Dependable player who should be a good starting tackle in the league. Sometimes gives a bit too much space which results in pressure.

Grade: Round 2

6

Bernhard Raimann

OT / CENTRAL MICHIGAN / 6'6 / 304

i (1).png

Raimann has good size and plays with good upright posture and focus. He possesses good acceleration out of his stance and has demonstrated impressive footwork and technique. Stays balanced through his blocks and is a smart player. His short arms force him to overreach sometimes and get beat because of it.  Former tight end with good quickness for the position.

Grade: Round 2

7

Sean Rhyan

OT / UCLA / 6'5 / 321

Sean-Rhyan-OL-UCLA.png

Rhyan is a powerful run blocker with a very thick frame. He has quick feet for his size and plays with good awareness and instincts. Rhyan’s stance is balanced and wide with a low center of gravity, making it difficult to get through him. Violent hands that move defenders off the line early. Rhyan’s arms are a bit short to play left tackle and he needs to improve his technique in pass protection. Rhyan is better suited to play right tackle.

Grade: Round 3

Sam Tevi

8

Max Mitchell

OT / LOUISIANA / 6'6 / 297

i-1.png

Mitchell is very athletic and has great quickness in open space. He has a high IQ and is very quick to react and respond to the play. Mitchell has very long arms which allows him to effortlessly defend in pass-protection. Good height but is a bit light for a left tackle. He will need to add some upper-body strength. If Mitchell can gain some size, he should be an effective tackle at the next level, but this is crucial for his performance.

Grade: Round 3

Jake Matthews

9

Abraham Lucas

OT / WASHINGTON ST. / 67 / 332

i-5.png

Lucas has an enormous frame and possesses great footwork and quickness for his size. Very high IQ player who has a lot of upside. Played in an air-raid attack and is a talented and experienced pass-protector. Lucas has violent hands and is able to generate pressure through them. Not much experience in the run game, but if he can develop in that area he will be a solid lineman.

Grade: Round 3

La'el Collins

10

Darrian Kinnard

OT / KENTUCKY / 6'5 / 324

i-2.png

Kinnard is an absolute mauler with great strength. He possesses a physical demeanor and has violent hands. Good aggression in the run game and possesses the ability to put away a blocker early. Needs improvement in technique of pass protection and has a habit of leaning too far into blocks. I think Kinnard is better suited to play guard at the next level and could be extremely effective in the run game if he makes the move.

Grade: Round 3

Cody Ford

11

Daniel Faalele

OT / MINNESOTA / 6'9 / 387

i-3.png

Faalele has an absolutely enormous frame and possesses great strength. He is very hard to beat with strength but can be vulnerable through speed. He is a raw prospect who is still learning the game and can be prone to error or confusion. Good athleticism for his size. Needs to develop a better understanding and awareness of the game. Faalele’s size and strength will make him a good option in the league but weaknesses in footwork and technique will limit his upside.

Grade: Round 3

Jordan Mailata

12

Tyler Smith

OT / TULSA / 6'5 / 332

Tyler-Smith-OL-Tulsa.png

Smith possesses a thick frame and is physically imposing in the run game. He has good quickness and demonstrated a good ability to change directions and recover. His stance in pass protection is too upright and needs to have a more stable base. Sometimes his play style and use of hands is a bit erratic and he takes weird angles. Has a physical demeanour in the run game and can be a solid piece if he improves his pass-protection abilities. Better suited to play guard.
