Devin Lloyd

LB / UTAH / 6'3 / 235

i (1).png

Lloyd is an extremely smart linebacker with a high IQ, good awareness, and good instincts. He is patient and disciplined and possesses a high motor as he is always giving his best effort. Very versatile and adds value as a pass rusher (produced well in the sack column this year). Good strength for the frame he has. Very little to dislike about Lloyd. He is not a freak athlete but has good physical tools. Lloyd can be a reliable leader in the NFL for years to come.

Grade: Round 1

C.J. Mosley

2

Nakobe Dean

LB / GEORGIA / 6'0 / 225

i-1.png

Dean is an athletically gifted linebacker with impressive speed that pops on tape. Very energetic player with great explosiveness. Dean is elite as a blitzer and offers a lot of value as a pass rusher. He is great in coverage and can be used all over the field. Dean is a bit undersized and does not provide much in the run game. An electric player who has supreme confidence and can make a great impact in the NFL.

Grade: Round 1

3

Christian Harris

LB / ALABAMA / 6'2 / 232

Christian-Harris-LB-Alabama.png

Harris is a violent downhill finisher with great strength and explosion. He is very long and can wrap up tacklers with his length. Good in the run game and can move off blockers well. Good ability to drop back in zone coverage. A menace who impacts the game in many ways and possesses good instincts. Sometimes gets off balance or becomes too aggressive and has trouble tackling in open space. Work in progress as a technical pass rusher but still produces with length and strength.

Grade: Round 1

Roquan Smith

4

Leo Chenal

LB / WISCONSIN / 6'2 / 261

i-2.png

Chenal is an extremely powerful player with great strength and size. He has impressive speed considering his thick frame and can move well in open space. Consistent tackler with overpowering strength. Good awareness and versatility. Old school linebacker who has a bully mentality and plays like he is Brian Cushing. Good motor and always giving 100% effort. Not a refined pass rusher and not overly agile

Grade: Round 2

Brian Cushing

5

Chad Muma

LB / WYOMING / 6'3 / 241

chad-muma-advanced-stats.png

Muma is an extremely smart and instinctive player who people have said is like a coach on the field. Good tackler with great technique in open space. Hard worker who gives maximum effort on every play. Very good in coverage and played DB in high school. Very productive and useful in the run game and is an extremely hard hitter. Moves very well and is a fluid athlete in space. Very high floor and should have a long and successful career.

Grade: Round 2

Sean Lee

6

Troy Andersen

LB / MONTANA ST. / 6'3 / 242

i-4.png

Anderson has the ideal build and possesses a great combination of explosiveness and strength. He is extremely smart and was the valedictorian in high school. Good coverage in the middle of the field and does everything well enough. Very quick instincts to read the play and act on it. Andersen does not have any major flaws, aside from the classic criticism of playing FCS. Andersen is going to be a major steal in the draft.

Grade: Round 2

Luke Kuechly

7

Quay Walker

LB / GEORGIA / 6'4 / 240

quay-walker.png

Walker is very willing to engage on the defensive line and take on blockers. He is an extremely reliable tackler and is very sound in coverage. Walker possesses good awareness and a quick reaction time. He does not possess great speed or athleticism, and will not wow you with his physical tools, but he is a very dependable player who does not make many mistakes.

Grade: Round 2

Jamie Collins

8

Darrian Beavers

LB / CINCINNATI / 6'4 / 252

i-3.png

Beavers plays with an extremely impressive mental trigger paired with great reaction time. He is able to seek out the play in an instant and act on it. Thick frame and uses it to play with good strength. Beavers plays with a high motor and is a good tackler. Does not possess elite speed and is a bit of a chunky strider,  but makes up for it with his impressive reaction time.

Grade: Round 3

Kyle Van Noy

9

JoJo Domann

LB / NEBRASKA / 6'1 / 226

jojo-domann-advanced-stats.png

Domann is a reliable linebacker who has a knack for making plays. He is very smart and is extremely impressive in coverage, possessing the ability to run with tight ends. He is a TFL machine and is very efficient making plays behind the line. Does not have great athleticism but moves well. Lack of twitch and agility limits his sideline to sideline range. People say he is a vocal leader.

Grade: Round 4

Matt Milano

10

Brandon Smith

LB / PENN ST. / 6'3 / 241

i-5.png

Smith possesses a rare blend of size and speed. Ideal thick frame with long arms. Good strength when taking on blocks. Very good in coverage and can line up with tight ends and occasionally wide out. Physical tools have not always shown up in production and tape. Technique needs work in pass rush and tackling. Needs to play more downhill and put his tools to use. Smith has a lot of potential to develop into an impactful player.

Grade: Round 4

Germaine Pratt

11

Channing Tindall

LB / GEORGIA / 6'2 / 223

i-4-1.png

Tindall has extreme speed and he is a very explosive player who can burst out of his stance. Tindall is better as an open-field chaser than he is in the trenches. Not very disciplined and does not possess NFL-level eyes. Currently a work in progress with elite physical tools. Was never able to climb the depth chart of the talented Georgia linebacker room.

Grade: Round 4

Jaylon Smith

12

Brian Asamoah

LB / OKLAHOMA / 6'1 / 222

i-6.png

Asamoah is an explosive linebacker who is fastest when running downhill. He can accelerate out of his stance and get home easily. Does not have good strength and oftentimes tries to avoid blockers instead of going through them. Good in coverage and has flashed the ability to work downfield. Good short area coverage and has a good ability to understand what's behind him.

Grade: Round 4

Kamu Grugier Hill

13

Damone Clark

LB / LSU / 6'3 / 245

i-7.png

Clark is a violent and aggressive player who makes quick decisions without doubts. He possesses good speed and is a fluid athlete in space. Clark does not have the best vision and can be fooled easily with RPO’s or misdirections. He is inconsistent and raw right now but possesses the physical tools to be a developmental project at the next level.
