1

Jordan Davis

DT / GEORGIA / 6'6 / 340

i (1).png

Davis is an absolutely enormous player with a huge frame. His strength is evident on tape and is quite impressive. He has the ability to effortlessly push back lineman and cause pressure. Davis possesses elite speed his size and can move at a scary pace. Not a refined pass rusher and needs to develop a more consistent plan of attack. Davis didn’t play a lot of snaps at Georgia for an unknown reason which is a bit concerning, but their defence suffered greatly when he was on the sideline. Davis should be an elite talent at the next level.

Grade: Round 1

Dontari Poe

2

Devonte Wyatt

DT / GEORGIA / 6'3 / 307

Devonte-Wyatt-DT-Georgia.png

Wyatt is a very quick and explosive lineman. He is patient and disciplined and plays with good balance in his stance. Wyatt may lack the ideal size of a nose tackle, but he is a true competitor who goes after it every single down. Good at changing directions and reacting to the play. Good awareness and instincts. Needs to add some size to be a dominant player. Sometimes his athleticism does not always translate into the pass rush. Wyatt should be a quality piece on the right defensive line.

Grade: Round 1

Kenny Clark

3

Travis Jones

DT / CONNECTICUT / 6'4 / 326

Travis-Jones-DL-Connecticut.png

Jones has great strength and plays with a low center of gravity. He uses his violent hands and lower-body strength to make an impactful first strike. Jones is a consistent tackler who forces running backs to evade his presence. Jones fared well in the senior bowl and was able to cause a lot of pressure. He could improve as a lateral pass rusher and learn to deal with double-teams better.

Grade: Round 2

Jonathan Hankins

4

DeMarvin Leal

DT / TEXAS A&M / 6'4 / 290

i-1.png

Leal is a very quick and explosive athlete. He is extremely versatile and can play anywhere on the line, which adds to his value at the next level. Very strong hands and disrupts the game in many different ways. Not big enough to play primarily at tackle and can get pushed back in the run game. Leal has concerns about his character and his effort. He occasionally gives up on plays.

Grade: Round 2

Jerry Tillery

5

Phidarian Mathis

DT / ALABAMA / 6'4 / 313

phidarian-mathis-advanced-stats.png

Mathis is a traditional tackle with great strength and drive. He is extremely hard to block 1 on 1 and draws double teams. Mathis has good instincts and patience and is able to read the blocking pattern of the offensive line. Good ability to push defenders back and create pressure with the use of his hands. Not overly explosive and lacks the ability to efficiently change directions.

Grade: Round 2

Daquan Jones

6

Perrion Winfrey

DT / OKLAHOMA / 6'4 / 303

Perrion-Winfrey-DL-Oklahoma.png

Winfrey possesses a good combination of strength and quickness. He has quick feet and good length for the position. Winfrey is very versatile and moves well in open space. Good explosiveness. Needs to improve technique in the pass-rush and is not an anchor in the run game. There is nothing to hate about Winfrey and he is a high floor player.

Grade: Round 3

Fletcher Cox

7

Neil Farrell Jr.

DT / LSU / 6'4 / 325

i-3.png

Farrell has a thick frame and possesses good power to shed blocks. He has the size to eat up space but does not demonstrate the ability to add value as a pass rusher. Good awareness and discipline to read out the play and stay in front of the ball. Farrell does not offer too much upside but he is definitely a good value pick that can be a solid piece at the next level and do what he needs to do.

Grade: Round 4

Malcolm Brown

8

Haskell Garrett

DT / OHIO STATE / 6'2 / 298

i-4.png

Garrett is a quick player with an explosive first step. He has good lateral agility and can move off blockers to react to the play. He lacks the ideal strength of a tackle and does not possess much pop in his punch. Garrett possesses good technique and a plethora of finesse moves. Instinctive player with good awareness. Does not use his hands or legs to generate strength. Not a great finisher and can be pushed back.
